Frequently Asked Questions

Are you really going to lock us up?

Sure thing! And it’s your job to try to escape!

That sounds dangerous. I’ve seen movies like that, and they usually don’t end well…

Usually, they don’t. But don’t worry, there’s always a way to escape. And if you don’t escape in time, we’ll let you out.
There’s also a “panic button” which allows you to leave the room safely. There are no dangers here. We promise.

Is there a required amount of people? And can I bring all my friends?

Our rooms are designed to be played by groups consisting of 2 to 6 people. This is to ensure your safety and comfort during the game. If your group is larger than 6 people, and you would like to play the same room, there is a possiblity to split the group into two time slots. Please contact us in advance if you would like to do this.

Are there going to be other people in our group?

Only if you’d like that. The rooms are designed to play with 2 or more people.

Can I bring my baby/dog/gerbil/pet goat?

As much as we believe your child or pet behaves properly, our games are not baby or pet-friendly. Pets are not allowed in our rooms.

Is there a minimum age?

The recommended age to play is 16 years or older without supervision. However, we welcome children aged 12 or older.
Children below the age of 16 are required to play together with an adult.

What time should I arrive?

Please try to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your booked session, so you can properly be briefed.

Can I take photographs or record videos in the room?

Please do NOT take pictures or video recordings inside the room. Also please do not reveal any of the tricks, puzzles and solutions to the public.
Nobody likes spoilers.

Are cellular phones, tablets… allowed in the room?

Cellular phones and tablets are not allowed in the room. You do not need anything in the room except for yourself.
Lockers are provided to you to store your belongings.

Can I bring alcohol/drinks/food into the room?

We prefer to keep our rooms clean. That’s why we do NOT allow any beverages or snacks into the room.
If any team member is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, he/she will be turned away, and no refund will be given.

Is it possible to play the rooms using a wheelchair?

Unfortunately, escape games in general can not be played in a wheelchair.
This is due to the fact that there are too many obstacles, and there is a possibility that you will have to look for clues which are high above the ground.

I’m claustrophobic. Can I play?

Sure you can! Our rooms are fairly spacious, and reasonable sized. The smallest section is similar to a single bedroom.
Make sure to warn us about claustrophobia before you start, so we can keep this in mind during the game.

I booked a time slot, but I did not receive any email…

Unfortunately, sometimes these kind of email messages wrongfully get classed as spam. Please check your spam folder.

Is it possible to cancel my booking?

You may cancel your booking by email at least 48 hours prior free of charge. If you cancel your booking after that, we will charge you 50% of the total sum.
No-shows will be charged for the full amount.

Are there any places to eat or drink in the neighborhood?

We offer light snacks and refreshments in our bar area for very democratic prices. If you would like to have a full meal, there are plenty of opportunities in the neighborhood.
Don’t hesitate to ask for our recommendations. Our crew is mostly local to Hasselt, and we know the nicest places in the area.
